Our Process
At Journey Medical, we know that starting the path to recovery from opioid dependence can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to do it alone. Here’s what to expect when beginning your recovery journey with Journey Medical:

1. Initial Consultation
When you first contact us, we’ll ask if you’ve been in a similar program before. If not, we’ll explain what Suboxone is, how it works, and its potential benefits and risks.

2. Program Introduction
We’ll introduce our outpatient care model, which includes scheduled appointments with a licensed physician and a counselor. Based on your individual needs, you’ll also have the option to book additional counseling sessions.

3. First Appointment
At your initial visit, you will:

• Complete intake paperwork
• Take a drug test
• Submit payment
• Meet with both a doctor and a counselor to begin your care plan

4. Personalized Treatment Planning
We recognize that every recovery journey is different. That’s why we tailor each treatment plan to your specific stage of recovery, adjusting your care to align with your progress and needs.

5. Ongoing Follow-Up & Support
After your first appointment, we’ll schedule regular follow-ups to monitor your progress, offer continued counseling, and ensure you’re supported at every step.
